Features

100+ Uses: The Ultimate Outdoor Survival Towel: Whether you spend your holidays on a long distance hike, camping in the backcountry of New England or just wanting to re-stock your bug out kit- a multi-purpose survival tool like this can quite literally save your life. Our towels can be used for bathing, cleaning, collecting water, first aid, starting fires, protecting you from the sun etc. Pretty much everything you might need for a trip into the wild. These little disks are so versatile, you can start a fire and dry off at the same time.

ABSORBENT, COMPACT AND LIGHT: If you spend a lot of time in the great outdoors like we do; hiking, biking and much more, then you know how important the weight of your
backpack is. Don't let a heavy towel rob you of the joy of the journey. Our towels weigh practically nothing and take up almost no space, yet they are so sponge like absorbent that
when wet they can reach up to 9 times their original weight. At the size of a board game piece and the weight of a handful of feathers, you'll be able to save your space for the more important stuff, like food and water. Enjoy your time outside, lighten your load!

Great Fabric AND EASY TO CLEAN: A lot of travel towels use cheap, in-effective materials. We don't. We use the best Lyocell, which "has been on the receiving end of numerous awards, including the "European Award for the Environment" by the European Union" Hiking and Backpacking can be messy stuff; from sweat to mud, you're going to need something to clean you up after a long day. Feeling sweaty? Want to freshen up a bit? Wet your lightload, clean yourself up, wash out with water and simply wring it to dry. You also don't want a towel that is complicated to clean. Our remarkably energy efficient fabric is naturally antibacterial and easy so you don't need detergents, bleaches and fabric softeners that pollute water. Just rinse and use. Voila

Soothing on SKIN: Being out in the great outdoors is great, but it can be tough on your skin. Lighhtload towels are a bio-based, hypoallergenic, soft, sponge like material, perfect for sensitive skin. If you've got a rash, nettle sting, or generally aggravated skin, soothe it with one of these. Just apply when dry. The sweat wicking cloth is another feature that can cool your skin down and reduce the irritation you get from long days out. The smooth, soft material can be cooled in clean cold water to create a cold-compress if you're too hot.

ULTRA ABSORBENT: QUICK TO DRY & HYGENIC: It Absorbs like a sponge, taking in water at more than 9.5 times its weight. Cotton and other fabrics weigh a ton when saturated with water. Ours weigh little and are easy to wring out and take little time to dry. Keeping good hygiene when you are on the go is important and there is no other product that controls the dirt, smells and uncleanliness like lightload Towels.

    Great little towels for hiking

Awesome little towels for hiking. They last for a while, even when washed. I can usually get a few months of weekend hiking out of one. They hold a lot of moisture, are very light, and dry quickly. Whenever I forget them, I am always kicking myself. If you sweat while engaging in outdoor activities, these little towels are awesome. Just bought some more.

Opens without water ........... great in an emergency

I truly love this product. Especially like the fact they can be opened while they are still dry. Don't have to have water to use them. The one time I have used them in the field was working at one of my fathers houses. Accidentally scraped a scab off my arm. Unknown to me I bled like a stuck pig. Was able to open one of the towels and clean up my arm. It was great to have the towels with me. Have them in both my vehicles now and usually have one on me constantly.

    Compact, light and handy.

Soft, absorbent and so tightly shrunk that they take up very little space. Definitely useful for ultralight backpacking, as well as regular travel or home uses. Took several camping in Utah and used them for cleaning up my hands, face and dishes. They rinse out well and hold up for a few uses, depending on how hard you scrub. When no longer useful for that, I let them dry, and later used for a bit of kindling in places where it is against the rules to collect brush.

I always travel with these now! great for crashing at places where there might not be an extra towel. I get a few uses out of them as well, once you wring them dry you can roll them up into a little ball and dry it out. I also bring these on camping trips where I can wipe away a lot of dust by dipping it in a bit of water. I actually bring these on my snowboard trips as well on the mountain. at a few dollars each, its nice to just always pack a few of these in your luggage or backpack you never know when they will come in handy

Used these to replace a microfiber pack towel. Packs down small, dries quickly and are quite tough.

Great balance of weight and utility, as long as you activate it first

I took these on a backpacking trip in the Appalachian mountains recently. As you can see from the image, they add less than an ounce to your pack. I've been struggling with the towel issue for awhile. Microfiber are bulky (and heavy when damp) but paper towels too disposable. These seem like the perfect inbetween.

I was initially dismayed when I unwrapped the towel in order to dry off two sets of feet after a river crossing. The square puck barely absorbed any moisture. It was only after I dunked it thoroughly in a nearby stream (fortunately for me, I had one of those handy) that the towel expanded. Soaking wet by this time of course. So I wrung it out and then it did a decent job of drying us off. Then I was carrying around a sopping wet towel. So I recommend "activating" the towel at home before the trip.

    Work better than I anticipated

Work better than I anticipated. Not very big but I've been able to wipe off food from eating utensils and dirt off gear. Rise it out and reuse it plenty of times. Soaks up liquid quickly and dries out in no time. Small and light I always have one in my bag
