Product Overview

Wow! That’s a towel? You got to be kidding me. It’s so compact. Yes, it’s a full-size hand towel compressed to the size of a silver dollar, great for space and weight saving. Add water to the towel then behold, it unfolds too full-size. They absorb like a sponge about nine times it’s weight and quick dries. The towels are also good for cooling and insulation. Lightload Towels can also be used as first aid, static electricity insulation, tinder, padding, a mask and more. The packaging is 100 % waterproof. These 12x12 inch towels weigh .2oz: great add-ons to survival bags, emergency kits, prepper gear, backpacks, and travel luggage.

    Very practical

Posted by Randy on 14th May 2018

Great product. Very practical. You can put these anywhere and always have a rag or towel at your disposal. I use these in my EDC, emergency and first aid kits. If you put them in a pocket of your shorts or jeans....you can wash and dry and get about 4 more uses out of the same towel. Well designed and easily deployed. Thank you for a good product. I got the 50 pack for $24.99 which I believe is a fair price.

These little towels are awesome. They are small enough to put in an emergency first aid kit. I take them with me in my purse, camping supply, and backpacks. They are great for washing up while camping, doing dishes, using them to clean up spills, or drying your hands on. They dry in minutes. I love these things. They are super soft and super absorbant. I have machine washed them many times, and they hold up well.

Not only are they good while backpacking/camping

Posted by Mykul on 29th Apr 2018

These items are the only way to do when you are away from home. Not only are they good while backpacking/camping, you should also keep in them in the car to use on business trips/vacations. They are very durable and have many uses, I have them everywhere!

Gread product and fun for kids!

Posted by John Logan on 7th Jan 2016

These little towels are great! I bought the 50 pack of both the 12x12 and the 12x24 as the price per unit was drastically less than what you could get with smaller quantities, plus it has given me the ability to store them all over. They hydrate up and become full sized very quickly but prior to that are very light weight and take up very little space. I've placed a few in my car, a few in a bug out bag, some in my camper, pretty much everywhere I might need to clean something up or wash something off and they've never disappointed. On another note, these little cuties are a huge hit with kids. For some reason anything that looks like money (a big coin) that can magically transform with water is an instant hit.

    A very handy product

Posted by hanzo on 1st Jan 2016

I carry a couple in my pack and in my day bag all the time. They take up practically no space and weigh next to nothing. Any kind of cloth is handy to have. These are great for so many things. Wipe and clean stuff (including your butt if necessary) check. Cooling rag. Check. Anyway, use your imagination. I have a couple with my canteen kit too. And you can reuse them too, even though they are inexpensive enough to be disposable. Just make sure you mark your butt rag. ;p

    Compact, absorbent, durable

Posted by MegaZone on 26th Dec 2015

I carry a Lightload Towel in my back pocket to use in hot weather as a way to wipe away sweat, as I shave my head and it just tends to run off. (Things you don't realize when you have hair.) They work great - very compact and very absorbent. They dry quickly when aired out, and last a long time - rinse it in water, wring it out, let it dry. It is also convenient if you get caught in some rain and need to dry off quickly. They're small enough that you can easily keep one in your back pocket, or a purse, etc. Keeps some in the car for unexpected spills too. I don't have kids, but I think they'd be very useful for parents as well.

    Every Californian should have these!

Posted by D. Spaulding on 23rd Dec 2015

These are an absolute must-have for a disaster kit or BOB. You only need a couple of capfuls (from 16oz. size water bottle) of water to have a good sized, strong washcloth, soft enough for facial use and personal hygiene. Perfect for earthquake preparedness kit. Can be used for drying, also. Great for camping, has multiple uses listed in description. They are so small that they don't take up much room, unlike traditional cloths, leaving more room for other necessities. Great price and will last as long as prepper food when unused in your kit. I highly recommend these for everyone's emergency kit.

I don't recommend washing them in a machine

Posted by Dr. M. on 16th Dec 2015

I bought these to go in emergency kits and to toss into the center console. I opened one when I got them just as a test. They are a little hard to open but once you get them hydrated they last a long as you want them two. Although I intended them to be single use, the one I opened lasted forever. I don't recommend washing them in a machine. For what I bought them for they are nice for the price. I don't do a lot of reviews for stuff that just does what it is supposed to do, but I got a very nice note from the vendor asking me to do a review. They didn't ask for a good review just a review. I would not give 5 stars unless I was happy with the product.

    Great little towels

Posted by Brian K on 15th Dec 2015

Great little towels. I keep a few of these all around the house and in the car. The size is perfect to keep one in your pocket, especially with young children. Great to have for those unexpected accidents when you have nothing else with you. They are great for camping too. I use them regularly for doing dishes. They are a bit rough if you need to unfold and use them immediately dry, but once they are wet, they are very soft. Good quality product, definitely worth the money. They hold up fine in the washing machine too. This is not a use once and throw away product.
