If you’re traveling you need the best travel towel, if camping you want the top camp towel, swimming the best swim towel and playing sports the best sport towel. Lightload towels are the best of the best. We include backpackers, sailors, hunters, fisherman, mountaineers, adventurers, explorers, cyclists, exercisers, yoga participants, kids, moms and the ordinary joe as customers. First, what we are not. We are not a microfiber towel that describe most camping towels, sports towels and travel towels. Our towels vacuum seal to look like the smallest of travel size toiletries and fit nicely in a toiletry bag. They open to a surprisingly big towel. Micro fiber fabric cannot compress to pack small. Our towels absorb like a large sponge. Microfiber towels are not nearly as absorbent. Lightloads are a naturally antibacterial cloth. You must treat microfiber towels with chemicals to be anti-microbial. Our cellulosic material comes from the natural environment. It’s made from plant and tree scraps and can help to sustain the forests. Microfiber is a plastic and environmentalists warn, particles of microfiber are washing into the water supply and killing sea life. We also aren’t those little popup coin tissue wipes in a tube that come 50 to a bag or 10 to a tube. Although they compress to dry towels and their material is stronger than paper towels, they are still a thin emergency use wipe, people use a lot, as expensive toilet tissue. There are news stories written that these wipes clog up drains damaging the sewers. Our material is made from the finest lyocell a much thicker grade fabric, washable, soft on the skin and reusable. People can burn them to dispose. Lightload pack towels are the best at easy storing and are sealed to be a clean dry towel until you are ready to use. They pack to free up space in pockets, carry-ons, survival bags, travel bags, backpacks, gym bags, bug out bags, dry bags, suitcases and more. They are truly a magic towel.

     Features :

  • COMPRESSED FOR EASY STORAGE, REUSABLE AND LIGHT WEIGHT FOR TRAVEL: If you spend a lot of time on the go, traveling; hiking and camping, saving weight and space in your travel bag, backpack, camping or hiking gear matters. Our hand towel is so light weight at .5oz. We vacuum pack it into mini cubes which space saves for other packables, like food, water and survival gear. It can also be used over and over to clean, wipe and dry.
  • SOOTHING ON SKIN: Even the best hikers and backpackers have emergencies. That’s why a Lightload multipurpose towel is a must to prepare. It’s compressed so forget about it until you open to a clean dry cloth. It’s a bio-based fabric made from plants and wood and can be a cure all for many emergencies. Many of earth’s medicines and remedies come from plants and wood. I’ve personally soothed excruciating nettle stings with just applying the dry cloth to the pain.
  • MULTIUSE: Lightload Towels were created as a cleaning towel for long distance hiker’s personal care. In time we found they offered more. They are great for first aid as bandages, emergency care as blankets, tactical gear as fire starters, Protective gear for static electricity, and remedies for skin irritations. They store easily in your backpack and luggage also in survival bags and bug out kits, Hunters, fishermen, boy scouts, golfers, cyclists, preppers, gym goers all use the towels.
  • SUPERB PERSONAL CARE MAGIC TOWEL: Our towels are made of award winning Lyocell It’s not microfiber but derived from sustainable wood and plant scraps that are breathable, antibacterial, hypoallergenic and burnable. Our camp towels are a wash cloth or a wipe, always clean, fresh in the package and fast drying. A water resistant layer was added to the package so you so you can quick dry in wet weather. Wash the cloth? Just pack in a pocket or mesh camp bag, throw in the machine and clean.
  • SUPER ABSORBENT QUICK DRY & HYGIENIC: Lightload Towels have superb water management properties. These Swim towels absorb more than 9.5 times their weight. Cotton and Microfiber towels don’t come close to this feat. It’s also the excellent water management that keeps the towels naturally antibacterial, as the water wicking moves the bacteria away from harming you. The towels water wicking breathability also keeps the skin cool in warm and warm in cool weather.

    Great little towels for hiking

Awesome little towels for hiking. They last for a while, even when washed. I can usually get a few months of weekend hiking out of one. They hold a lot of moisture, are very light, and dry quickly. Whenever I forget them, I am always kicking myself. If you sweat while engaging in outdoor activities, these little towels are awesome. Just bought some more.

Opens without water ........... great in an emergency

I truly love this product. Especially like the fact they can be opened while they are still dry. Don't have to have water to use them. The one time I have used them in the field was working at one of my fathers houses. Accidentally scraped a scab off my arm. Unknown to me I bled like a stuck pig. Was able to open one of the towels and clean up my arm. It was great to have the towels with me. Have them in both my vehicles now and usually have one on me constantly.

    Compact, light and handy.

Soft, absorbent and so tightly shrunk that they take up very little space. Definitely useful for ultralight backpacking, as well as regular travel or home uses. Took several camping in Utah and used them for cleaning up my hands, face and dishes. They rinse out well and hold up for a few uses, depending on how hard you scrub. When no longer useful for that, I let them dry, and later used for a bit of kindling in places where it is against the rules to collect brush.

I always travel with these now! great for crashing at places where there might not be an extra towel. I get a few uses out of them as well, once you wring them dry you can roll them up into a little ball and dry it out. I also bring these on camping trips where I can wipe away a lot of dust by dipping it in a bit of water. I actually bring these on my snowboard trips as well on the mountain. at a few dollars each, its nice to just always pack a few of these in your luggage or backpack you never know when they will come in handy

Used these to replace a microfiber pack towel. Packs down small, dries quickly and are quite tough.

Great balance of weight and utility, as long as you activate it first

I took these on a backpacking trip in the Appalachian mountains recently. As you can see from the image, they add less than an ounce to your pack. I've been struggling with the towel issue for awhile. Microfiber are bulky (and heavy when damp) but paper towels too disposable. These seem like the perfect inbetween.

I was initially dismayed when I unwrapped the towel in order to dry off two sets of feet after a river crossing. The square puck barely absorbed any moisture. It was only after I dunked it thoroughly in a nearby stream (fortunately for me, I had one of those handy) that the towel expanded. Soaking wet by this time of course. So I wrung it out and then it did a decent job of drying us off. Then I was carrying around a sopping wet towel. So I recommend "activating" the towel at home before the trip.

Work better than I anticipated. Not very big but I've been able to wipe off food from eating utensils and dirt off gear. Rise it out and reuse it plenty of times. Soaks up liquid quickly and dries out in no time. Small and light I always have one in my bag

With weight and size now a major concern for everyone on the go, behold, Lightload Towels provide the perfect solution. Our full sized beach towels are packaged to fit easily in a pants pocket and weigh only 5 oz. Hold a bunch of our smaller size towels in your hand and still have room for keys and money.

Absorb more and dry quicker than cotton and microfiber

Handle easier when wet

Weigh less when wet

Are soft against the skin

Provide insulation against the heat and cold

Act as great survival tools

These are by far the best towels for you.
